Three hundred guests came together at Leeds Metropolitan University's Rose Bowl on 17 March 2011 to celebrate the continued success of Leeds as a legal centre.
With a welcome drink in hand, the Leeds Law Society committee, guests and VIPs were treated to a live performance from the internationally acclaimed Pheonix Dance Theatre entitled "Pave Up Paradise".
A sumptuous 4 course meal was followed by an after dinner speech from Stephen Smith MBE and live entertainment from Irish band Gypsy Rogues to round off the St Patrick's Day event.
Dignatries included The Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor James McKenna with the Lady Mayoress, Councillor Andrea McKenna alongside Linda Lee, President of The Law Society of England and Wales. Leeds Law Society President, James Haddleton gave a response to toasts from Linda Lee and also Alan Baker, the Chairman of Leeds Legal at an event which was kindly supported by Trimega Laboratories Ltd (as headline sponsor), AON, Wesleyan, DWF, Mills and Reeve,UBS and Leeds Metropolitan University.
