Deborah is Chief Executive at Marketing Leeds – the city’s strategic marketing organisation – who’s role is to raise the regional, national and international profile of Leeds. She has extensive international experience having trained business leaders in the UK, across Europe, America, Australia and Russia, specialising in legal, business development and leadership skills. Deborah has also led international delegations to many European and global destinations throughout her career.
Deborah is one of Leeds Legal’s directors, involved in the campaign since its inception. Leeds Legal is the first ever city based legal marketing campaign of its kind in the UK, bringing the cream of the Leeds legal profession together as an alliance to promote Leeds as a centre of excellence for legal services. She was recognised as Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year 2006.
In her spare time, Deborah chairs Candlelighters, the regional charity for children and young people with cancer and she was President of Leeds Law Society in 2009/10.
