Through Leeds Legal, Leeds lawyers are leading the way in forging international business links for the city. In conjunction with the campaign’s main sponsor, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) - the British government’s international trading organisation - Leeds Legal has undertaken an ambitious international programme, including facilitating delegation visits to and from, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
In order to give Leeds lawyers the opportunity to increase their business contacts overseas, and to attract new business to the city, Leeds Legal carries out regular international delegation visits to all corners of the business globe.
Many of the delegation visits arranged by Leeds Legal have resulted in reciprocal inward visits from overseas business cities to Leeds, allowing them to experience the city, and its legal services for themselves.
With assistance from campaign supporters Jet2.com and Hilton Leeds City hotel, over 60 overseas delegates have been welcomed to Leeds.

International delegation programme
Working alongside national and regional Chambers of Commerce, law societies, British embassies and consulates, Leeds Legal has developed relationships with leading business cities across Europe, Asia and the Americas, through their international delegation programme.
Delegation visits to date have included Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, China, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, New York and Chicago.
Reciprocal visits to Leeds have also been arranged and groups have already visited the city from Spain, Germany, Italy, India, Pakistan, Australia, USA, Mexico and Canada.
