Leeds Legal shortlisted for innovation award (3rd October)
Leeds Legal has been shortlisted for a national Innovation award, thanks to the campaign’s on going successes in the legal and business sectors.
The Law Society’s annual Innovation in Business award is hotly contested by law firms and legal organisations across the UK, the Leeds Legal campaign is now one of only six entries left in the running for the coveted award.
Over the last 18 months, the unique campaign - the first of its kind in the UK - has successfully positioned Leeds as a world-class city, with a world-class legal profession. Through a series of international delegations visits, a high profile media campaign and comprehensive website, Leeds Legal has showcased the breadth of legal talent in Leeds and the quality of the city’s law firms.
Leeds Legal chairman, Alan M. Baker said: “We’re delighted that we have been shortlisted for this award, it really is testament to the campaign’s strength and achievements over the last year.”
The winners of all the Law Society awards, including Innovation in Business will be announced at a black tie dinner, hosted by Jeremy Vine at the Honorable Artillery Company in London on Thursday 25 October.
