Leeds Legal, along with co-sponsors Marketing Leeds, welcomed a selection of guests, including many London-based visitors, to enjoy the capital’s premiere of Opera North’s The Adventures of Pinocchio at Sadler’s Wells Theatre on Wednesday 27th February.
Invited guests, who included legal sector and national newspaper journalists, had the pleasure of meeting the award-winning composer Jonathan Dove, who wrote the opera with top playwright Alasdair Middleton, at an exclusive reception before the performance began.
Alan M. Baker, chairman of Leeds Legal, said: “The event offered a unique networking opportunity for Leeds Legal, bringing together a selection of high profile guests from Leeds and London, including leaders from the property sector, other key business people and legal and national journalists.
“The evening was a huge success and everybody involved had a great time. Opera North’s fabulous performances do an excellent job in showcasing Leeds as a true centre for culture in the UK, and we were very happy to use the opportunity to highlight our position as the largest legal centre outside London.”
Leeds Legal is a unique organisation dedicated to raising the profile of the world-class expertise of the city’s legal services sector. It continues to be one of the most successful city agencies to utilise European and international trade missions.
