Seven Leeds lawyers will attend the fair to showcase the city’s expertise as the largest legal centre outside of London.Leeds Legal and The Barcelona Bar Association have developed a strong working partnership through previous delegation visits, including the commerce and cultural event Leeds in Barcelona in March 2010. Taking part in this week’s Trade Fair will only strengthen this relationship further.
The three-day event, which launches with a formal opening ceremony on 2nd February at 6.00pm, will offer a unique opportunity for Leeds lawyers to network with Catalonian and other European colleagues, and enable the exchange of best practice.
The trade fair will be packed with talks and workshops; networking sessions; opportunities to visit Barcelona Law Firms, and working lunches. Leeds Legal will present a seminar on “Marketing a Law Firm” and will host a networking breakfast open to all Trade Fair delegates. Leeds Legal is also be involved in working sessions with colleagues from Milan and Lyons, which the organisation have developed collaborative relationships with in previous delegation visits.
