 Nominations for this year’s Yorkshire Lawyer Awards are now open. The awards will culminate in a prestigious ceremony and dinner at Rudding House, Harrogate, on 25 September.
Now in their eighth year, the awards recognise outstanding legal talent in the county and offer professionals the chance to come together to network, socialise and celebrate.
As well as the coveted title of Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year, other categories include:

• Law Firm Award (under and over 30 partners)
• Specialist Law Firm Award
• Rising Star Award
• Private Client Award
• Corporate Finance Award
• Real Estate Award
• Dispute Resolution Award
• Enterprise Award.

In addition, for the first time, a Presidents’ Award will be presented by joint presidents Peter McCormick and Jeremy Shulman honouring legal excellence in Yorkshire.

As well as honouring excellence in the Yorkshire legal profession, the awards will again aim to raise money for local charity, the Macmillan Dales Unit at Harrogate District Hospital.
