Godloves' Managing Partner Ian Goldman is handing over the reigns to Paul Carvis, who has been a partner at the firm for 28 years.
Ian took over the practice in 1971 and after 37 years he feels it is time to take things a little easier.
When Ian began work at the firm it boasted only one secretary and a dozen files. Almost forty years later and the practice is still growing.
Paul said: "I aim to build on the back of Ian's influential contributions to Godloves; taking the firm forward while continuing to improve the business by offering the best service possible to our clients."
Ian is wished the best of luck by colleagues and clients and will undoubtedly continue to be a familiar face in Leeds' business community.
