A duo from Leeds-based solicitors Emsleys have lent their support to a local environment project as part of Cares Day.
Trainee solicitor Pria Mistry and trainee licensed conveyancer Jennie McMaster helped to clear and maintain a 1.5 mile length of hedgerow around a formerly derelict allotment in Headingley.
The project is the first to initiative of Emsleys Greens, a tea specifically set up by the company with the aim of reducing the firm's carbon footprint. The team is made up of volunteers from across the firm's various offices.
Jennie McMaster said: "We were delighted to be able to take part in this project. t was hard work, but it was fantastic to see the progress we made. As a local company it is great to be able to get involved in a truly local project."
