Charlotte Parkinson

Charlotte Parkinson is an Associate at Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds, specialising in commercial dispute resolution and public procurement challenges.

Charlotte joined AG following completion of her training contract at a Yorkshire firm and was a paralegal in Leeds prior to that. Charlotte is a past Chair of both the Leeds Junior Lawyers’ Division (2016/17) and also The Junior Lawyers Division of The Law Society of England and Wales (2019/20).

Charlotte is passionate about social mobility in the legal profession and has focused a lot of her time on promoting access to the profession, being heavily involved in discussions with the SRA as the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination developed. She looks forward to continuing Leeds Law Society’s work on encouraging diversity and inclusion, and for the Leeds legal arena to be a leader in improving diversity and inclusion within the profession.

Outside of work, Charlotte loves travelling internationally and trying different cuisines – both of which were brought to an abrupt pause by the interruption of Covid-19. Charlotte now enjoys exploring new places a little closer to home and trying out local, independent eateries where she can.
