Job Details

We are looking for part-time staff to teach on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  We are particularly interested in lawyers who can teach:

  • Business Law and Practice.
  • Conveyancing Practice
  • Criminal Law
  • Criminal Litigation and Evidence
  • Equity and the Law of Trusts
  • Property Law
  • Property Law and Practice
  • Solicitors Accounts

In general, teaching would be during the day, though there may be some evening sessions available too.  Tutors are paid an hourly rate of around £48.00 to include preparation and any marking required.  Undergrad sessions are 1½ hours long and LPC sessions normally 3 hours long.  You will get to work with some very nice tutors and help shape the minds of young (an older) lawyers; you might even like the experience so much that you decide on a change of career!

If you would like to discuss this opportunity further please contact Melissa Askew, the Head of Law (Undergraduate), by email on m.askew@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
