Our events and training programme aims to have something to suit everyone through all stages of their legal career. Our programme reflects the new approach of continuing competence which all solicitors must meet from November 2016.
We focus on high quality but affordable activities – and free wherever possible. From 2017 many of our events are free to our members and incur a small fee to non-members. From networking lunches that attract both legal professionals and the business community, to seminars that demystify key issues affecting the sector, to discussion forums that increase dialogue between solicitors and the judiciary or regulators, we seek to educate, support and connect the legal community in Leeds.

Leeds Law Society is always looking for new and topical courses to present to its members and supporters.
We take great care to read every course assessment sheet following a presentation to assess the views of the delegates and to review any particular requests for future course presentations. Should you have any suggestions for courses, be it Legal courses, Support Staff courses or indeed management courses, please let us know.
Please send us your ideas and suggestions which are vital to ensure Leeds Law Society can host a timely, interesting and varied programme locally on your behalf.
