Simone Yasmin is a writer and spoken word artist born and based in Leeds. Both her written and vocal work raise awareness for issues in all tenses and Simone highlights injustice and amplifies marginalised voices. Simone is passionate about racial equality and women’s rights. Simone has worked with Greenpeace UK, Black Minds Matter, the British Library and the Women’s Equality Party, amongst many others.
